Welcome … Parents of an Eagle Scout
and Eagle Scouts that are Now Parents
Eagle ScoutParents ESP is a Community Support Alumni Group of the Parents & Family Members of an Eagle Scout and an Eagle Scout that is now a Parent.
Dear Fellow Parents of Eagle Scouts and Eagle Scouts that are Now Parents –
As the Founders of Eagle ScoutParents ESP we would like to enlist your help with our on-going Eagle ScoutParents ESP Dad Project, involving Emergency Survival PREparedness (ESP).
Our goal is to help you develop a similar PREparedness program in your community.
We are keenly aware of the need to ‘Be Prepared’ for emergencies, in case of natural or people-caused events. A strong case has been made about the lack of preparedness or preparation on the part of most of the general public and the very real need to have our families, neighbors and communities to Be Prepared for any emergency situation. To this end, we have developed a viable program to support First Responders and to engage Scouts and Parents who are working on advancement and merit badges; related to, First Aid, Emergency Preparedness and Safety.
The Eagle Scout Rank
Since 1912, the Eagle Scout rank has represented a milestone of accomplishment—perhaps without equal—that is recognized across the country and even the world. Those who have earned the Eagle Scout rank count it among their most treasured achievements. “Eagle Scout” is not just an award; it is a state of being. Those who earned it as youth continue to earn it every day as adults. That is why an Eagle Scout IS an Eagle Scout—not was.
Eagle Scout: On my honor—l will do my best—to do my duty—to God and my country—and to obey the Scout Law—to help other people at all times—to keep myself physically strong— mentally awake–and morally straight. Charger: Your conduct along the trail has been excellent.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE EAGLE PROJECT? To give the Scout an opportunity to “plan, develop, and give leadership to others,” as noted in the requirement. Eagle Scout projects are evaluated on the benefit to the organization being served and on the leadership provided by the candidate.
Scout Motto: ‘Be Prepared’
Who better than Scouts, Parents and Eagle ScoutParents (ESP) to help their Families, Neighbors and Communities with Emergency Survival PREparedness (ESP)? To ‘Be Prepared’ takes time, awareness and a personal investment. Here is an opportunity to help raise ESP Community Awareness and Funds to support the Scouting Experience.
Today, in every neighborhood and community, Emergency Survival PREparedness (ESP) is on every person’s mind. Actions speak louder than words. Start today to ‘Be Prepared’ and help Scouts, Parents and Eagle ScoutParents to continue to ‘Be MorePREpared‘.
